We were asked to create one of the first sponsored Instagram Stories posts.

So we did this.

 

We were also asked (separate ask, non-related) to create a series of GIFs to utilize Giphy's Sticker feature on Instagram and Snapchat. So we made a few and then tagged them with "McDonalds" and "frozen" and "junkfood" and other derogatory terms towards McDonald's. Whenever users searched for "Mcdonalds" when looking for a GIF, the following GIFs would pop up:

After McDonald’s launched “fresh beef” to the US, we were tasked with responding. Turns out they only use fresh beef in one sandwich (their Quarter Pounder). But Wendy’s has fresh beef on every burger, every day. So we made a couple of websites to give the people straight facts.

We also had to create spots promoting Wendy’s “2 for $6” deal, but we couldn’t shoot anything.

It was one of the most creatively liberating assignments I’ve ever worked on.

 

We also got a chance to write tweets for the Wendy’s Twitter. Here’s a good one:
